Saturday's ratings

Just remembered, need to rate Saturday's posh dinner:

Pan fired scallops with lime and coriander

This was nice but not quite as tasty as I expected. Maybe more lime would have done the trick, 8/10

Grilled hake with spring onion mash and morel mushroom sauce

This was very tasty, the hake was amazing and the sauce really reminded me of being in Italy. We couldn't get morel mushrooms so used porcini. The recipe Paul used was a bit vague and I think incorrect at times so there was a bit of improvising along the way. 8 1/2 out of 10

Lemon drizzle cake

I was intrigued by this recipe as it used almonds and mashed potato instead of flour. It tasted amazing, so light and lemony! The only thing I would change is the lemon drizzle. I would use a lemon syrup (and will amend the recipe accordingly). I wasn't sure about using almonds but you don't taste them at all. 9/10 :-)
