POP!
I decided to practise my chocolate baskets as I usually melt the chocolate in the microwave and the show contacted me to say there wouldn't be one on the set. I have to revert to the traditional method of a bowl over simmering water on the stove. All seemed fine, the chocolate looked lovely and glossy so I blew up the balloons and started dipping them in the chocolate, admiring the lovely patterns I had made.
What I hadn't anticipated was the method must heat the chocolate up more. This didn't have a great affect on the balloons as one by one they burst and I got covered in chocolate!
A bit messy; the kids were gutted they missed it!
